Cube Zero is 2004 Canadian horror movie, it's the third film in the Cube series. Cube Zero is a prequel to the original film Cube.
Synopsis
A new group of prisoners navigate the treacherous confines of the maze inside of the futuristic Cube prison. Each step is potentially the last as the deadly traps hidden in the sparse box shaped rooms find the numbers of the unwilling prisoners quickly thinning. Only when they can figure out the mysteries of their constantly changing prison will the surviving inmates have any hope for escape, and even then there is no guarantee of freedom, much less survival. Some of the rooms in the maze have various traps including sharp wires, flames, blades and chemical that are all deadly. The inmates tests the rooms by a method called booting which involves throwing a boot in an attempt to activate any hidden traps.
The film focuses on the genius Eric Wynn a Cube Technician and the Cube inmate Cassandra Rains. Eric is as much a prisoner inside the Cube as the inmates and in his job he have to monitor the progress of the inmates and witness the cruel executions.
