Dale Denton played by Seth Rogen is a 25 year old dude with problem to grow up. Got an 18 year old girlfriend and his favorite thing to do is smoking weed. One day he gets his hand on some rare weed from his dealer Saul Silver called Pineapple Express. Unfortunately Dale witnesses a murder and accidentally leaves his weed on the crime scene. The murder traces up Dale and the dealer Saul and puts his gang to kill them.

Seth Rogen first major movie was The 40 Year Old Virgin and has had great reviews since then and this movie is not an exception.

Synopsis

On their way to becoming self-actualized adults, a duo of delinquent dudes find themselves stymied by unfortunate habits. But when stuck-in-neutral process server Dale Denton (Rogen) inadvertently witnesses a drug-related murder, he and his bug Saul (Franco) find that sometimes the motivation you need to make something of your life is a mob of fugitives hunting you down.
